DON JAZZY IS BACK WITH ( BEAT COMPETITION)

Don Jazzy sure sets the alarm off in some veins....lol.
The meek as a lamb Co-founder/C.E.O of Africa's number one record label Mo'Hits Records, Don Jazzy a.k.a I.D.J.A surely is the happiest business/music mogul on the continent.
Reasons?

1. His record label "Mo'Hits Records" is enviably the most successful indigenous record label out of the continent
2. His artiste's (9ja's number one, UN Peace Ambassador and BET Award 2011 Winner Mr Endowed Koko Master himself D'Banj, the golden-voiced Black Diamond Wande Coal, soft-spoken lyrical-doctor Dr. SID, the Sexy Jonzin World crooner D'Prince, highly talented yet witty Kay Switch) are arguably the best the continent has to offer with the stretchy success tale behind each and everyone of their musical works which he produced
3. The array of international and local accolades and awards both him as a producer and his artistes have in their kitty
4. His musical productions having the midas/golden touch finesse evident in the works of his label Mo'Hits Records and such other productions like: Weird MC (Ijoya); Queen (Jebele); Ikechukwu (Critical) to mention but a few
5. The successful record deal alongside D'Banj with giant rap maestros Kanye West's G.O.O.D Music brand
6. The recognition of his magical production skills at the international scene with the inclusion of his midas touch to the soon to be released joint album of Rap Legends Jay-Z and Kanye West titled "WATCH THE THRONE" which is dropping August 2nd and had other notable icons as Beyonce featuring on the particular track titled "Lift Off" (http://www.killerhiphop.com/jay-z-kanye-west-watch-the-throne-production-credits)
   DON JAZZY BEAT COMPETITION

The rather shy producer-per-excellence early Saturday at his New York base cooked-up another masterpiece musical concoction which he titled after his mammoth aura "ENIGMA".
   Question is....."and so??"
Well he is now giving young budding talents a chance to ride with the musical gods by throwing out the beat for the streets (free download).
Yea....up and coming talents and fans alike have the rare and golden opportunity to flow on ENIGMA (the beat) however they wish but note...."with style and precision"; and send/email in mp3 format to donjazzy@notjustok.com.
The notjustok team and Don jazzy will screen and pick out the top five (5) entries and present them on www.notjustok.com for an open poll vote.

The winner of the competition gets $2,000 (TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS) CASH from DON JAZZY! In addition, DON JAZZY says: “If your version is too badt, who knows? I can put it on D’Banj’s album....."IDJA“.

   2nd & 3rd place winners gets $1,000 & $500 cash respectively

It’s a simple hurriedly-done freestyle/mixtape beat for rapheads. We expect y’all to murk it with ease. No excuses!

Entries will be accepted till Sunday 31st of July, 2011. If you are interested in participating in this competition, please go ahead and start off NOW! in order to avoid last minute rush. Goodluck to all participants.

Rraz new single and video

Rraz a.ka.Bryan Dike is a Port Harcourt born rapper who always had music in him but it took a while his music motors started turning. Born into a family of four, Rraz is the last of his siblings, Rraz started making music when he met and became friends with producer & CEO of the NOD Factory back when he was in school, 3^rd year to be precise.Rraz is a moniker he adopted from his days as an undergraduate.Rraz is a computer science graduate with a thing for music, he wrote his first lyrics in 2005 while in his third year at the Nnamdi Azikwe University. He views himself as “an artist cut from a different cloth”.Rraz is hip hop, a rapper who isn’t scared to fuse his rap skills with different genres of music from hi life, to rock, house, fuji and pop. Rraz isn’t scared to push the limits with his music, either dropping heavy punch lines on grimy beats or spitting subtle verses on mellow tunes. His first single ‘Nollywood’, featured Perez which he released in 2009 off his debut album “Pedigree (volume 1: Ready to blow)”, is a track that equates the beauty of his woman to that of top Nollywood stars. The track shows high quality production along with good vocals and coherent rhyming ability. The video was later released in February 2010 was directed by Clarence Peters. Rraz is back again with a new single “Robo” featuring Perez once again for this club banger, Robo is a slang concocted by the duo meaning lose all inhibitions, this is an edgy party starter and the main purpose is to make everybody lose it one the dance floor. The video was shot by Adasa The-Arc Cookey for Square ball pictures is a perfect representation of the song.
